What Is This Portal?

The Public Office Rating Portal is Ghana's first structured citizen feedback system for government appointees. It allows Ghanaian citizens — at home and in the diaspora — to rate and comment on the performance of Ministers, Deputy Ministers, District Chief Executives, CEOs of state agencies, Board Chairs, Ambassadors, Presidential Advisors, and other public office holders.

Unlike social media commentary, our platform provides structured, verified, quantitative data that can be used by government, civil society, researchers, and the media to understand public perception of appointee performance.

Every appointment is tracked separately from the person. When an appointee is reshuffled or given a new role, their new appointment is rated fresh — ensuring historical data remains accurate and comparable.

Who Can Use This?

Citizens

Any Ghanaian aged 18+ with a Ghana Card can register and vote. Diaspora Ghanaians are also welcome.

Government

The Presidency, ministries, and agencies can use this data to understand public perception and guide decisions.

Civil Society

NGOs, watchdog groups, and advocacy organisations can use rankings and analytics to support accountability work.

Researchers & Media

Journalists and academics can access aggregated statistics, sector analyses, and trend data via our public API.
